Hi, I’m Merissa Cohen, CEO & Founder of Savvy & Sorted®. We create organizing solutions that support all of the ways we live, which is unique from home to home, culture to culture. The truth is, we are not Professional Organizers, we are more inspired by the way people live when they have their life in order. We are a lifestyle business committed to helping people fall in love with their home and through organized living, make happier, healthier life decisions.
Where Chaos Ends and Bliss Begins
While I love all things organization, I’m even more hooked on the magic that comes from a decluttered mind that is free to dream and this is the bigger picture for the Savvy & Sorted®. I call it “Organized Bliss”, a unique feeling of clarity, peace, and pride that comes when you walk into a tidy room where everything has its place and your mind is free to dream.
What do I dream of? I dream of clean, thriving, abundant oceans. I am an ocean advocate passionate about raising awareness on human consumption and everyday habits that have a devastating impact on ocean health. We are moving fast towards the precipice of irreversible ecological damage and with simple changes in each of our households, we have the ability to turn this story around and set up future generations for success.
In 2021, I became a certified Freediver on Lady Elliot Island, the southernmost island in the Great Barrier Reef, which is the nesting ground for Green and Loggerhead Sea Turtles. Since launching a reef habitat rehabilitation initiative in 2018, they’ve seen an increase of 125% in turtle nesting! We can make a difference!
From thoughtful sourcing and packaging to reducing food wastage and single use plastic, our mission is to use home organization as a platform to inspire conscious consumption and happy, healthy living. Savvy & Sorted® is built on people falling in love with beautiful labels and containers but the real beauty happens after you declutter, you find the clarity and peace to do the things that are most important to you, to live the life of your dreams!
