How to get the chalk ink flowing:

Step 1: Press the marker tip down on scrap paper multiple times to open the ink valve.

Step 2: Replace the lid and shake the marker vigorously for 10-20 seconds to move the ink around.

Step 3: Press down again on scrap paper (tapping) until the ink flows to the tip.

3-in-1 Tip Chalk Marker

Turn your marker to the different edges to achieve different levels of bold thick writing. Pump the tip several times to get the chalk ink to the tip and continue writing.
