Works well to keep spice jars organized
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! These labels are PERFECT for my 4 oz spice jars. They go on easily and do not get damaged if you have to readjust it 10 times like I did! Haha. The only time I had problems with that was after the label had been set overnight-I tried to move the “thyme” label, with my thick acrylic nail, from a new empty jar to a jar I already had for thyme, so after already being set for 12 hours, it did damage a little at the corner where I tried to pull up the edge. I think if I had used a thin knife or other tool instead of thick acrylic nails, I wouldn’t have had a problem. No sticky residue was left either. I added a picture of the thyme label I damaged. It is still useable and will work fine. But pulling off the label to readjust the positioning over and over doesn’t seem to do any damage or lose any stick. Just make sure to press all edges down smooth once it is where you want it and it will set perfect! I sent an email requesting the font template, so I’m hoping to get a good response or an offer to print the labels I still need for my local brand spices that don’t come with the labels. Fingers are crossed that they are able to help me out!
I recently started to transfer my spices to uniform jars but the set I have had limited preprinted labels. There was no way I could handle having handwritten labels but I found this set. It comes with 151 preprinted labels and more than covers my needs. I mean, it even had Old Bay and BBQ Rub!
This is right up my wife's alley. She loves herbs and spices and moreover, she is an organizational powerhouse. The first thing you notice while opening the envelope is that all spice labels inside are listed on the outside. That is nice when planning your spice bottles, how many do you need, etc.Speaking of planning, you will need to purchase the glass bottles you plan to use ahead of time. I don't keep these bottles lying around, so my wife had to purchase some (Amazon). These labels work on round or most all bottles, really. This includes mason jars.I knocked off one star because we find them very difficult to peel off of the page. That was frustrating.Based on what I see, there are labels for every spice and blend I can imagine. The print is white and can be a bit vague at times, but she is OK with it.
I recently re-organized all my spices and I wanted these to go on some plain spice jars I ordered. They are super cute and have a really wide variety of stickers included. I like that they also contain little date stickers for you to write in the best-by date for spices you are transferring from other jars. My only complaint is that the pages the stickers are on are yellow so that makes it a bit hard to read the labels when you are searching for the sticker you want, but once on the jar, they are easy to read. Very cute and they stick well.
